The Title III EL (English Learner) library has bilingual books and book sets in Arabic, Cantonese, Chinese, Hmong, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. It also contains English and Spanish assessments, curriculum samples, newcomer resources, and family engagement materials. Additionally, there are a wide variety of books, kits, and games available for educators, as well as student reading materials at various different reading and interest levels.

We have spent the summer developing Spanish language secondary Science curriculum to go along with the Suma Piezas/Building Blocks bilingual textbook sets in our library. A team of representatives from various CESA 11 districts identified essential standards, tiered vocabulary, core and supplementary instructional materials, and assessment rubrics to support the use of the Biology and Geology 1 textbook set in independent study, alternative pathway coursework, or proficiency-based portfolios.
