EL Summer STEM Field Trip

This year's English Learner Summer STEM Field Trip will take place here at CESA 11 on July 25, 2019!

It is sponsored by the Title I Migrant Education Program (MEP) and 2018-19 Immigrant Children & Youth Grant and is open to all CESA 11 districts. 

The Science Museum of Minnesota will be presenting the opening program and breakout sessions, and we'll also have the mobile planetarium set up for guided astronomy sessions.

Please see the flyer (or CLICK HERE) for more information and to register. You only need one registration form for each school, and you'll just indicate how many participants in each category (students by grade band, teachers, family members) will be attending from your school.

There are still spots available for Emily Miller's workshop "The Language of Doing" next Wednesday, December 13th! This is a great opportunity for ALL teachers who work with English learners, especially in Science, and it's also great for ANY teachers who have students that may struggle with content area language development. Feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested!
