WIDA needs your help!

In 2019, WIDA will introduce a standards-based instructional framework. Throughout 2018-2021, educators across the consortium will be invited to engage in a 3-year implementation process. You can help support the development of this framework by providing input about the draft version. ALL stakeholders involved in language learner education are invited to comment to make sure this work meets the needs of their students. The draft will be posted and open for public feedback from March 22 to April 20, 2018. Click on the links below for more information!

The Reading Together Project seeks to address the lack of children’s books that speak to the experience of being an Asian Pacific Islander (API) child or youth in the United States. The project supports the development of English literacy skills while recognizing cultural heritage, and creating opportunities for children and families to learn about API cultural heritage together.
